Norway is one of the 21 members of the Accountability, Coherence and Transparency group. The group is aiming to improve the working methods of the UN Security Council. This statement was delivered by Deputy Permanent Representative Ms. Tine Mørch Smith.

Permanent Representative of Ireland, Ambassador Ms. Anne Anderson, delivered the statement on behalf of team Denmark, Ireland and Norway (sharing a seat) at the long-awaited first meeting of the Open Working Group for Sustainable Development Goals. ‘An area for early consideration by the Open Working Group should be what we mean by global and universal goals,’ said Ambassador Anderson.
