High Level Meeting on Climate Change

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will host the High-level Event on Climate Change for Heads of State and Government. Norway will be represented by Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg.

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will convene the High-level Summit on Climate Change at 0900 in the General Assembly Hall.

Speakers include the President of the United States, Barack Obama, China's President Hu Jintao and Kenyan Nobel Laureate, Professor Wangari Muta Maathai.

After attending the opening session, Prime Minister Stoltenberg will take part in a round table discussion from 1100-1300.
